QuantFin DiscoveryWeek is an immersive five-day programme designed for the top 100 Year-12 mathematics students across London, each with a strong interest in quantitative finance, mathematics, and analytical problem-solving. The programme brings together students from leading schools to explore how mathematical theory and data-driven thinking are applied in modern financial markets.

The first phase of the programme takes place at Imperial College London, where participants spend three days engaging in intensive academic learning. Led by leading professors and industry experts, these sessions introduce core concepts in quantitative finance, including probability, statistics, financial modelling, and algorithmic thinking. Through lectures, workshops, and problem-based learning, students gain exposure to the intellectual foundations that underpin quantitative roles across finance.

The second phase of the programme focuses on real-world applications. Participants complete a placement at leading financial institutions, where they observe how quantitative methods are used in professional environments.
